Brief: Recently bagged a silver medal in the 4x100m relay at the Under-20 World Athletics Championships held in Nairobi, Kenya.
Share your achievement/success story in detail. I represented Namibia in the U20 World Athletics Championships in Nairobi on the 23rd of August 2021 in the 4x100m relay and my team achieved a silver medal.
Tell us more about your journey leading up to this moment. I have been working really hard and being consistent with my training. Being selected to be part of the relay team was a result of the performances I put up during the athletic season. I believe it was my first time representing my country at a global stage and I believe I really worked hard for it.
What does this achievement mean to you and how will you use it to motivate others? I’ve taken this achievement as a building block to the beginning of more success in my athletics career and use it through my future achievements to prove to others that they should keep working hard, stay committed, dedicated and disciplined because they can do it as well.
What are your plans for the future? My plans are to be better than I was before and run fast qualifying times.
