Brief: NUST FM New Presenter

Share your achievement/success story in detail. I took part in the auditions held to find new NUST FM presenters for the year 2019, where I was required to submit an audio recording for at least 3 minutes, where I had to pretend to be a radio host on a show. I did some research in to being a host and I applied it in my recording. Must have worked because now I'm one of the new presenters.

Tell us more about your journey leading up to this moment. I was actually told by a friend that auditions where being held at the time I was filled with mixed emotions, it was feelings of being excited and scared, because I was scared, I did not have what it takes to actually qualify to be a presenter. I told my cousin about this and he told me to take this opportunity and it might help with my people skills as well as my poetry so I gathered all the courage I had and on the fourth of October 2019 low campus auditorium building class room one exactly at 2 o'clock I made my way to the auditions and I'm happy I took the chance because I might have regraded it if I did not decide to go.

What does this achievement mean to you and how will you use it to motivate others? I enjoying writing and meeting new people, so I will take this opportunity to learn and interacted with different people and jump out of my own skin, to try and see the world in an image that was not created by how I see the world but by the different personality that I will have the chance to come across. I would also love to make people happy with the platform that has been given to me and in away related to them.

What are your plans for the future? I desire to get my degree in accounting and adding more qualifications to my profile to become either an auditor or charted accountant hopefully within the next 6 years. I also desire a career in the entertainment business not really sure as what but I know when the time is right I will know.
