Tell us more about your journey leading up to this moment. I attended my Secondary school at Grootfontein Secondary School. As a result of peer pressure, I failed grade 12. Subsequent to this, I improved my results in Ongwediva and managed to get admission in the Introduction to Engineering studies at NUST. As a result of the valuable lesson I learnt from failing grade 12, I pushed myself to becoming one of the outstanding performers at NUST.

What does this achievement mean to you and how will you use it to motivate others? It is dearly humbling to be singled out as an outstanding performer. Given my background, I feel heavily obliged to assist those behind me, to watch out for peer pressure. Equally important is to assist those that are going through life adversities in giving them hope. I have already started doing so through an academy I formed that offers extra classes to grade 10 and 12 learners. At Genius Academy, we assist learners both academically and emotionally to ensure that they achieve their education goals.

What are your plans for the future? Become one of the renowned Engineers and register with the ECN to practice at a professional level.
