Brief: Recently returned from Switzerland, were she did her internship at one of the world's leading bank, Credit Suisse

Share your achievement/success story in detail. I was awarded an internship for three months in Switzerland at one of the worlds leading bank, Credit Suisse.

Tell us more about your journey leading up to this moment. In the middle of a very hectic semester ,I came across a great internship opportunity to Switzerland that was advertised on campus and I immediately decided to grab it whole heartedly and started applying .I remember that I didn't have financial resources to get my documents ready but that didn't stop me, I then thought of a way to raise the funds I needed whereby I started selling prior year text books I no longer used on campus as well as doing some laundry work to gather the amount I needed. A few weeks after I submitted my application, I received a call from the NUST international Relation office to come in for the first interview of which most students were short-listed for . I got through to my first interview and got short-listed for a second interview were I was one of the successful students for the internship .It was not easy getting reading for this internship because there was a lot of paper work to be done and e-learnings to complete ,along side with NUST exams to prepare for but I managed to plan my time accordingly. Whilst at NUST I always look up to other successful students and lecturers that makes a difference in whatever they do to motivate others, they are my inspiration.

What does this achievement mean to you and how will you use it to motivate others? I am forever grateful and thanks to B360 Education Partnership ,Credit Suisse and everyone else for making my internship possible and for planting greater seeds in me that will germinate into a brighter future. During my time in Switzerland I have met wonderful people ,learnt so much about different cultures and building networks. One thing is that always believe in yourself that you and your dreams are possible ,therefore grab every good opportunity you get.

What are your plans for the future? My short-term plans are to complete my degree and further my studies to post-graduate where I would like to qualify as Chattered Accountant. My long-term plans are to own a bed and breakfast business that will cater for the low to middle income earners and a catering business that will rent chairs ,tables and tents locally.Along the way I would also like to start a career in Investment Banking ,this was an inspiration from my internship back at Credit Suisse in Switzerland.
