Julia Sheehama - Bachelor of Quantity Surveying

Brief: Third best performer student for the Bachelor of Quantity Surveying 2017

Share your achievement/success story in detail. Being the 3rd best performer in the Bachelor of Quantity Surveying 2017 is a huge achievement. My Success and achievement started in my primary school, when I was in grade 7 until where I am today. Throughout I have always been part of something in terms of academic achievement. A university achievement is one of my best because university cannot really be compared to high school or primary and above all, Quantity Surveying, is very technical and requires attention, thus this is why I'm proud of myself.

Tell us more about your journey leading up to this moment. There's not much to answer for this question, all I can say is that through hard work, diligence, dedication and commitment I am here today.

What does this achievement mean to you and how will you use it to motivate others? The achievement mean a lot to me, however I am still thriving to become the best in what I do and can do.Well motivation being the driving force behind all the actions of an individual, let my fellow students have the same need for attainment of excellence, it's not an easy journey as it requires commitment and diligence, however if one believe they want to do it for their own future, they can. Remember no one will pave for you the way and if you do not build your dream, someone else will hire you to help them build theirs.

What are your plans for the future? A man's plans is by God. However, I look forward to become the most honest Registered Quantify surveyor as well as a construction engineer in Namibia. I want to add value to the Namibian construction industry and its people as a woman.
