Brief: Founder of the NUST STUDENT AGAINST CRIME
Please tell us about your role and vision for the NUST STUDENT AGAINST CRIME ? I am the founder of the NUST STUDENT AGAINST CRIME society . My role is to make sure that the members of this Society are united and understand what it means to be a member of the NUST STUDENT AGAINST CRIME . I educate and explain the Constitution, to make sure that what we have started we must finish it. Our vision is to have a crime free campus, but also a crime-free community at large.
What impact does the NUST STUDENT AGAINST CRIME have on the community? NUST STUDENT AGAINST CRIME ’s aim is to prevent crime through educating their academic community of students and staff on crime related issues. Our slogan is “NUST STUDENT AGAINST CRIME is a society that is changing the society”, meaning that we have a vision and an aim to make sure that with the little that we are doing we are able to change the society. When students at the Polytechnic of Namibia have an idea and a philosophy of fighting against crime, these students will continue, in their communities, to fight against crime and pass on the same ideology.
What is the best tip you have for people to stay safe on campus? We must always remember to make sure that our environment is safe and the best for us to be in. If you think it is not safe for you to be at a certain place, please walk away silently and report it as soon as possible. Always respect your instinct.
